ABOUT FLEMINGSBURG BAPTIST CHURCH
OUR HISTORY
OUR STAFF
Flemingsburg Baptist Church was organized in 1840. In 1843, a church was built on West Water Street in downtown Flemingsburg. This building was used continuously until 2003 (except for during the Civil War when Union troops took over the edifice). In 2003, the church moved to its new location on Elizaville Road to accomodate its growing congregation. Since the move, the church has continued to grow both numerically and spiritually.

BE OUR GUEST!
At Flemingsburg Baptist Church, we love to have guests! Below are few things that you may want to know before you visit our church. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact us.
What time should I get there?
Sunday School starts at 10:00 am. You can get here around 9:45 to enjoy coffee and donuts and meet our pastor and congregation. If you're just coming for worship, it begins at 11:00 am. Evening services for adults and children/youth begin at 7:00 pm.
Where do I go?
When you enter the doors of Flemingsburg Baptist Church, one of our greeters will be able to show you to your Sunday School classroom or the sanctuary. Signs are also posted for your convenience.
What about the kids?
FBC offers a wide array of learning opportunities for kids. The greeters will be able to show you to your child's Sunday School room. Nursery services are also provided during morning worship. Kids are welcomed back
on Sunday evenings at 7:00 for TeamKID, a Bible study program for children.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code at FBC. On any given Sunday you may find congregants wearing
dresses and shirts and ties or jeans and polo shirts.
What is the worship service like?
Our worship services include mostly traditional music led by piano, organ, and choir, though
we sometimes sing Biblical contemporary music as well. Dr. Beckham will preach a sermon,
and there will be readings from the Bible, prayer, an offering, and opportunities to respond.
How do I get there?
We are located just past FCHS on Elizaville Road on the right.

All About Find it Here...
Find it Here is a campaign to deliver the Gospel to 1.5 million households across Kentucky in the weeks leading up to Easter Sunday 2010. Flemingsburg Baptist Church will be praying for and visiting 3600 homes throughout Fleming County throughout the next three months as part of this state-wide campaign. The Find it Here campaign is part of the GPS initiative of the North American Mission Board, aimed at fulfilling the Great Commission in North America by 2020. The campaign will consist of three phases:
Prayerwalking the State. At FBC, we will pray for each of the 3600 homes in our region to ask God to prepare the hearts of the people for the Gospel distribution and media campaign to follow as we walk or drive by each house. This phase of the campaign will take place in January and February. For more information on prayerwalking, clickhere.
Distributing the Gospel. The Gospel distribution will consist of placing a plastic bag with a special Find It Here brochure and an invitation to attend Flemingsburg Baptist Church on Easter Sunday 2010 on the doors of each home in our region. The bags will also include a brochure that briefly describes our church's ministries and service times. This phase will occur in March. To view the Find It Here brochure, click here.
National Media Campaign. The NAMB is producing high quality TV and radio spots in English and Spanish. The ads will feature the stories of three people who found life unfulfilling until they found Christ. $1.2 million is committed for advertising. A special Web site, www.findithere.com, will help to support the advertising campaign. You can view the commerical here.
